On October 12, 2026, the National Center of Intellectual Property submitted the first national application for the registration of an invention to the WIPO Digital Access Service (WIPO/DAS).
The purpose of this service is to provide applicants and patent offices with a simple and secure way to submit documents establishing priority, in accordance with applicable legislation and taking into account relevant international agreements and arrangements.
Reference:
The WIPO/DAS system is designed to process applications claiming priority for inventions, utility models, and industrial designs. The exchange of priority documents takes place via secure electronic channels, in full compliance with the information security requirements established by most patent offices. This service is provided free of charge to all patent offices and applicants.
