The National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP) will host a webinar on the current Intellectual Property (IP) agenda on April, 22nd, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
This event is dedicated to the World Intellectual Property Day which is celebrated annually on April 26 with the support of the World Intellectual Property Organisation. The World Intellectual Property Day 2020 campaign runs under the slogan “Innovate for a Green Future”.
The NCIP webinar is to address the theme of IP promotion in Belarus and focusing on its importance in stimulating innovations and economic development.
The issues of National IP-strategy in the sphere of Intellectual Property, patent research, commercialisation of IP in fostering market competitiveness of Belarusian entreprises will be discussed. We will also have a separate discussion about the role of trademarks and geographical indications in products promotion.
The green future theme will be covered by the invited speakers who will also justify the role of information resources in creating and promoting the eco-friendly safe innovations.
Discussions will be also attended by the NCIP representatives as well as the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus, Republican Library for Science and Technology, United Nations Development Programme in Belarus and BelBrandAudit Ltd. who have expertise and extensive experience in IP area.
All interested parties willing to learn how sound and balanced IP system can foster and stimulate the green economy development are welcome to attend the webinar.
