On January 29, the State Committee on Science and Technology (SCST) hosted an award ceremony dedicated to the Day of Belarusian Science, which is celebrated on January 31 this year.
The event was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of SCST Andrei Kosovsky.
SCST diplomas were awarded to:
Director General of the National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP) Uladzimir Rabavolau for his significant contribution to the formation and implementation of state policy in the intellectual property sphere;
Viktoriya Bessarabova, Head of the Training and Consulting Division of the Scientific, Educational and Publishing Activities Department of NCIP;
Alesya Tankevich, Head of the Sector of Science and Innovation Statistics of the Department of Scientific and Methodological Support for Innovative Development of the state institution “Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support for Scientific and Technical Sphere”, for significant contribution to improving the mechanisms of state support for the development of science and technology parks and their residents;
Anastasia Rikhtikova, Senior Researcher of the Sector of Scientific and Methodological Support and Monitoring Implementation of projects of the State Program for Innovative Development of the Republic of Belarus, Department of Scientific and Methodological Support for Innovative Development of the state institution “Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support for Scientific and Technical Sphere”, for conscientious and fruitful work on scientific methodological support of the State Program for Innovative Development of the Republic of Belarus, and significant contribution to the implementation of the state innovation policy;
Sergey Shuba, Head of the Department of International Scientific, Technical and Innovation Policy of SCST, for ensuring the effective international scientific, technical and innovative development of the Republic of Belarus, for participating in the development and approval of the Interstate Program of Innovative Cooperation of the CIS Member States for the period up to 2030, and ensuring high export rates of Belarusian knowledge-intensive and high-tech products;
Olga Kolyago, Consultant of the Planning, Economics and Finance Department of SCST, for exemplary performance of work duties, successful implementation of state policy in scientific, technical and innovative spheres.
In addition, diplomas of the Operational and Analytical Center under the Aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus were awarded to the Deputy Chairman of SCST Sergey Shcherbakov and Head of the Scientific and Technical Policy and Expertise Department of SCST Fedor Khodorkin for their significant contribution to the scientific and technical support of the OAC, as well as in connection with the Day of Belarusian science.
The diploma of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus was awarded to the Consultant of the Scientific and Technical Programs Division of Scientific and Technical Policy and Expertise Department of SCST Tatyana Mariyko for fruitful work, great personal contribution to the implementation of the state scientific and technical program “Forests of Belarus – sustainable management, innovative development, resources” and the state program “Belarusian Forest” for 2016 – 2020.
