The «Roads of Glory» awareness-raising campaign was launched in Belarus

An awareness-raising campaign dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the offensive operation «Bagration» was launched in Belarus.

The organizers were the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, Belarusian Society «Znanie», Belaya Rus, BRSM, Belarusian Union of Officers, Patriots of Belarus, and Belarusian Public Association of Veterans.

The large-scale action will cover the sites of the main battles of the legendary liberation operation. Participants are expected to participate in car rallies, memorial rallies, film lectures, and reconstructions. The first meeting point on June 23 is in the memorial complex of Svetlogorsk district, where there is a memorial sign dedicated to the operation «Bagration» and the legendary breakthrough of the front line by the 1st Belorussian Front under the command of K. Rokossovsky.

The action chronologically coincides with the complete liberation of the entire territory of Belarus and ends on July 28 in Brest.
