Festival of Science - 2024
On September 7, 2024 the Central Botanical Garden of Minsk will host the Festival of Science. The organizer is the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
The festival program includes thematic platforms, lectures by famous scientists, exhibitions of achievements in various fields of science, interactive scientific experiments and master classes for visitors of all ages. The main venues of this year are Space, Medicine, Intellectual Technologies, Ecology, Taste of Science and Laboratory.
The event will include the exhibition-contest В«100 Innovations of Young ScientistsВ». It will present current developments of young scientists.
Also this year, a new platform dedicated to the culture and traditions of Belarusians will be organized. В«EthnographyВ» will present the national cuisine, traditional costumes and crafts of Belarusians, as well as wedding and funeral rites of our ancestors. The participants are expected to attend fascinating master classes on traditional hand weaving, making straw spiders, nabivankas, malavankas and vytynankas.
