Training course «Trademarks and Service Marks»

From November 25 to 26, 2025, the National Center of Intellectual Property will conduct a training course «Trademarks and Service Marks» in a hybrid format (on site and online)

Leading Belarusian and Russian experts in the field of intellectual property will join the training course as speakers.

The course will cover the following topics:

• trademarks: the concept, functions, types of trademarks, and their legal protection;
• national trademark registration procedure;
• international trademark protection;
• information search using databases of international trademarks and trademarks registered in the Republic of Belarus;
• disposal of the rights to a trademark;
• activities of the Board of Appeals under the patent authority;
• a well-known trademark;
• protection of trademark owners' rights;
• trademark protection in Russia: key aspects;
• from filing an application to receiving a certificate: a step-by-step guide for the trademark registration in Russia.

Applications for the training course are accepted until November 20, 2025 via the form on the website in the «Training» section (Application for individuals, Application for legal entities).

Upon completion of the course, all the participants will be issued a certificate of education established by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
