The official website of the National Center of Intellectual Property updated the section «Answers to Frequently Asked Questions», which contains explanations to frequently asked and interesting questions of citizens and organizations.

The answers in the section are categorized by: «General Questions», «Copyright and Related Rights», «Collective Management», «Inventions, Utility Models, Industrial Designs», «Trademarks and Service Marks», «Geographical Indications», «Plant Varieties», «Topologies of Integrated Circuits», «Contracts in respect of Intellectual Property Objects», «Patent Fees», «Board of Appeal».

This section is updated on an ongoing basis in response to incoming requests.

Thus, the answer to question No. 16 in the category «Collective management» clarifies how long the exclusive right to the works of a foreign author will be protected in the Republic of Belarus after his death.
