Youth Research Competition «The light trail will live forever»

A research paper contest titled «A Bright Trace Will Live Forever» is being held in Belarus to mark the 135th anniversary of the birth of Maksim Bagdanovich.
Organizers: the editorial board of the journal «Rodnae Slova», Maksim Bagdanovich Literary Museum, the Institute of Literary Studies named after Yanka Kupala, the Center for the Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature researches of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
Students of grades 9-11, institutions of higher and secondary special education are invited to participate.
The subject of the work:
- Maksim Bagdanovich: a new reading of literary classics;
- actualization of the poet's work among young people;
- directions for finding new information about Maksim Bagdanovich;
- female images in the author's work;
- Maksim Bagdanovich and the images of his works in modern Belarusian culture;
- artificial intelligence as a tool for research and popularization of Belarusian literature;
- my ideal literary museum.
The jury will evaluate the relevance, originality and novelty, scientific, problematic, accuracy, content, use of archival sources, compliance of the presentation of the material with the norms of the modern Belarusian literary language.
Research papers and applications for the competition are accepted until October 18, 2026 and must be sent in both paper and electronic form.
