The call for applications for participation in the XVII season of the International Children’s Contest «School Patent – Step into the Future!» is now open.

The aim of the contest is to stimulate the interest of the younger generation in scientific and technical creativity, develop skills of inventive activity and help realize the most daring and promising projects.

The contest consists of four stages. Citizens of any country and stateless persons aged from 6 to 18 are eligible to participate. The works (projects) in the scientific and technical sphere (inventions and utility models) and in the sphere of design (industrial designs), as well as other creative works corresponding to the nominations of the competition are accepted for participation.

The best works are awarded with certificates from Rospatent and the Eurasian Patent Office, and are also sent for examination by the Eurasian Patent Office for a chance to receive the gold medal «Advancing the Future». This season, the winners will receive not only valuable prizes but also a unique opportunity to present their projects to the professional community at the «Intellectual Property Days in the North-Western Federal District» forum on July 22-24, 2026, in St. Petersburg.

Submissions for the first stage of the competition will be accepted until December 25, 2025.
