March 27 is World Theatre Day, established in 1961 at the initiative of delegates to the IX Congress of the International Theatre Institute of UNESCO to draw attention to the art of theater, its cultural significance and role in society, and to promote international interaction and understanding between theater practitioners and audiences around the world.

We remind you that the National Center of Intellectual Property (the NCIP) collectively manages property rights to works (musical, dramatic, choreographic, etc.) and productions as part of theatrical and entertainment performances.

It is often difficult for authors, directors and other right holders to track the use of their works and/or productions themselves. To save time and resources, we recommend registering your works and/or productions with the NCIP for further remuneration of their use.

We would like to draw the users' attention to the unique NCIP catalog, which offers a wide range of works and productions by Belarusian and foreign right holders. With the help of a convenient search function you can find the necessary information faster.

It is also possible to apply to the NCIP, if it is intended to perform shows with the use of works and productions of both national and foreign right holders, in case it is difficult to obtain permission for their use independently. If requested, the NCIP will provide the necessary authorization or assist with it.
