WORK IS UNDERWAY ON A DRAFT AGREEMENT WITH THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

The draft agreement is designed to strengthen trade and economic cooperation.
The Parties recognize the importance of protection of intellectual property rights in order to stimulate R&Ds and creative activities that will contribute to economic and social development, as well as the dissemination of knowledge and technologies. In this context, a separate Chapter of the draft Agreement is devoted to Intellectual Property.
