Lisbon Express – is a free searchable database administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization containing information on appellations of origin and geographical indications recorded in the WIPO International Register under the provisions of the Lisbon System.

There are several modes of operation available for service users:

• simple search mode, which implies the use of a single search term;
• structured search mode, which allows you to identify relevant publications by their titles, numbers, product categories, geographical areas of distribution or origin and other parameters;
• an interactive world map displaying, in different colors, all States covered by the Lisbon system. The links included in the map take you to the page of each geographical indication or appellation of origin and to the data published there, allowing you to clearly identify the protected object. The comprehensiveness and clarity of the results thus obtained make Lisbon Express attractive to many users.
