Updates on the activities of the Judicial Board on IP Cases of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus for the first half of 2020

In the first half of 2020, 152 cases were in the proceedings of the Judicial Board on Intellectual Property Cases of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus, of which 114 were disputes concerning copyright and related rights; 38 – those on industrial property rights.

A total of 76 cases in the copyright and related rights field and 20 – in the industrial property rights field were considered, including 5 complaints against the decisions of the Board of Appeals of the National Center of intellectual Property. The latter were rejected by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus.
