Statistics on the examination and registration of inventions in the first half of 2020

In the first half of 2020, 231 applications for the grant of invention patents were filed with the National Center of Intellectual Property; 237 inventions were registered, which is equal to the number of inventions registered in the same period of 2019.
Meanwhile, in the first half of 2020, 213 patents were registered for national applicants, which is 12.1% higher compared to the same period in 2019, and 24 – for foreign applicants, showing 48.9% decrease compared to the same period in 2019.
