May 7th - Day of Radio, Television and Communication Workers

On this day in 1895, during a meeting of the Russian Physical and Chemical Society, Russian scientist Alexander Popov demonstrated the world's first radio receiver. Since that time, radio communication has undergone significant development and is now an integral part of human life.
