Issues of debt collection by the National Center of Intellectual Property from debtor users

The second issue of the journal «Intellectual Property in Belarus» published an article «The problems of debt collection by the National Center of Intellectual Property from debtor users».

The author is Angelina Lynko, Leading Specialist of the Rights Enforcement Division of the Copyright and Related Rights Department of the National Center of Intellectual Property.

In this article, the author examines the problem of debt collection under contracts concluded by the state institution «National Center of Intellectual Property» (NCIP) on the use of musical works with users. The article offers recommendations for improving the NCIP's claim-based work in relation to users with whom there is a contractual relationship, as well as recommendations for improving the legal regulation of this area of relations.
