Larisa Zhuravovich was born on November 6, 1965 in the town of Belynichi, Mogilev region. In 1983, she graduated from the art department of the I. Akhremchik Republican Boarding School for Music and Fine Arts. Graduated from the Graphic Arts Department of the Belarusian State Theater and Art Institute (1989). Among her teachers were V. P. Sharangovich and G. G. Popalovsky. After graduation, she worked as a teacher at the Byalynitsky-Birulya Children's Art School in Belynichi.
Larisa Zhuravovich is one of the few artists who is looking for herself in a realistic direction. She works in the field of easel graphics (lithography, gouache). She paints the most common things from peasant life: В«Cast IronВ», В«Sieve and GarlicВ», В«Basket with BeansВ» (1992), В«Still Life with a SieveВ», В«SicklesВ», В«PumpkinsВ» (1993), В«SmokerВ» (1996), В«Lamp on the TableВ», В«ApplesВ», В«JasmineВ», В«Still Life with PlumsВ» (2003), etc.
Member of the Belarusian Union of Artists (1993). She was awarded the commemorative badge В«2000 years of ChristianityВ», the diploma and medal named after V. K. Byalynitsky-Birulya (2002), the badge of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus В«For Contribution to the Development of the Belarusian CultureВ» (2016). In 2001, the artist became the winner of the В«Person of the YearВ» award (in the field of culture) of the Belynichi district.
Larisa Zhuravovich's works are now displayed in the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, the National Museum of History and Culture of the Republic of Belarus, the Mogilev Regional Art Museum named after P. V. Maslenikov, the Mogilev Regional Museum of Local Lore, the Belynichi Art Museum named after V. K. Byalynitsky-Birulya, Bykhovsky and Shklovsky Local History Museums, the Museum of History and Culture of Orsha, as well as in private collections in Australia, Great Britain, Germany, Israel, Poland, Russia, France, Switzerland.
