Applications for participation in the 2026 WIPO Global Awards Program are open

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is holding the 2026 WIPO Global Awards Program which invites small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups that use intellectual property (IP) in their activities, having a positive impact on the world around them and society.

Enterprises of all business sectors located anywhere in the world and meeting the competition criteria can apply for participation until March 31, 2026. Winners receive mentoring and exclusive support to facilitate the implementation of their IP strategies, including attracting investments, creating partnership opportunities, advertising support, etc.

This year, the winners in the new «Sport» category will be awarded. Thus, 11 WIPO global awards will be awarded, including in the «Special Mention of the Jury» nomination, designed to recognize the best female entrepreneur and the best young entrepreneur (under 35 years of age).

The award ceremony will take place on the sidelines of the WIPO General Assembly in July 2026 at the organization's headquarters (Geneva, Switzerland).

The application form is available in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese and Russian.
