Applications are now being accepted for the 1st Interstate Award «Best Standardizer of the CIS – 2026»

The Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification has announced for the first time a competition for the interstate award for achievements in the field of standardization «Best Standardizer of the CIS – 2026».

The initiative aims to support developers of interstate standards (GOST), promote standardization practices, engage young professionals, and unite the efforts of both government agencies and business community to develop this important area.

The prize is awarded in five nominations:

• «For a practical contribution to the development of interstate standards of great economic and social significance for the CIS»;
• «For contribution to the educational and training activities in the field of interstate standardization and related disciplines»;
• «For contribution to the development of scientific and methodological foundations of interstate standardization»;
• «For contribution of young specialists to research and practical activities in interstate standardization and related disciplines»;
• «For significant contribution to the development of interstate standardization».

Enterprises, institutions, organizations, public associations, and scientific, educational, and expert structures involved in interstate standardization are eligible to participate in the competition. Individual specialists or teams of up to five people may apply for the award.

Winners will receive diplomas and honorary badges.

Applications are accepted until March 1, 2026.
