Useful Resources in the Field of Intellectual Property: FIPS Information Retrieval System

The free Information Retrieval System of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property contains information on a large number of Russian patent documents, including patents for inventions, utility models and industrial designs, as well as protection documents for trademarks and integrated circuit topologies. The system also allows searching by registered computer programs and classification indices.

The working interface contains a large number of search fields, which makes it possible to compose and apply complex and precise information queries. In addition, the system supports the use of logical operators in each of the fields, which makes it even more flexible in customisation.
