A day in the history of IP in Belarus: the first invention patent was granted 30 years ago
30 years ago, on May 30, 1994, the first patent of the Republic of Belarus for the invention В«Device for gas purificationВ» was granted to Ivan Desyukevich (authors: Gennady Fateyev, Alexander Zavatko and Ivan Desyukevich).
The first issue of the official bulletin of the patent authority was also published on this day.

The NCIP databases provide access to information on industrial property rights objects registered in the state registers of the Republic of Belarus, as well as on subsequent changes in these registrations.
The system allows to conduct the main types of search:
- thematic (subject) - by the name of the industrial property object or classification index;
- by number - by the number of the application or patent (certificate);
- corporate (name) - by the full name (surname) of the right holder, applicant or author.
