We propose to familiarize ourselves with the activities of RGAIS

The Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property (RGAIS) is a higher educational institution, which for over 55 years has been training specialists in the field of creation, management, legal protection, defense and commercial use of intellectual property.

According to the decision of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States of May 19, 2011. RGAIS is the basic organization of the CIS member states for training, professional retraining and advanced training of personnel in the field of intellectual property. The Academy also provides scientific and consulting support in the development of international normative legal acts in this area.

The main activities of RGAIS include:

• carrying out judicial and pre-trial expertise (in respect of copyright and patent law objects, trademarks, etc.);
• preparation of draft agreements on the disposal of exclusive rights to intellectual property;
• development of local normative acts (regulations on the management of intellectual property rights, strategies for commercialization of exclusive rights, etc.);
• consultations and preparation of opinions on the protection and defense of intellectual property rights.
