Artificial intelligence in law, or whether there is a special branch of law regulating the functioning of AI carriers

In the fifth issue of the journal «Intellectual Property in Belarus» in the special section «Scientific School of Economic Law of the Belarusian State University» the article «Artificial Intelligence in Law, or whether there is a special branch of law regulating the functioning of carriers of artificial intelligence» was published.

The article explores how the introduction of artificial intelligence changes the legal system of the state and its laws. A new concept is proposed, according to which law is divided not into private and public, but into «human law» and «machine law (robot law)». This division will help humanity to cope with modern technological and social challenges. It also emphasizes the need to revise the concept of intellectual property and its relationship with economic law, within which the «machine law» will be developed».
