Victory Day Greetings from the Director General of the NCIP

Dear veterans! Dear colleagues! I sincerely congratulate you on Victory Day!

Victory Day is one of the most revered days in the Belarusian land. For millions of people, it has become an eternal testimony to the valor of the peoples who gave life and freedom to the world.

The memory of the Great Patriotic War lives in every town and village, passed down from generation to generation. Every year, there are fewer and fewer participants in that terrible war, but their feat remains for us an example of courage and dedication to the cause of peace.

Scientific research provided the front with everything it needed. Our compatriots Pavel Sukhoi, Semyon Kosberg, Yakov Zeldovich and others have made a significant contribution to the development of aviation, rocket technology and scientific and technical support of the front.

We congratulate the veterans and express our sincere gratitude to them for their generous gift of our lives and independence. Today, working selflessly for the benefit and prosperity of Belarus, each of us strives to become a worthy heir to the heroes who did not spare themselves in the fight against the enemy on the battlefields and worked in the rear for Victory.

On this memorable day for every Belarusian, I wish you good health, prosperity, success and long life!
