The winners of the youth competition for the best work on the IP theme in 2023/2024 study year were awarded on October 22nd, 2024 during the plenary session at the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference В«Intellectual Property in Contemporary World: Current Challenges and Development ProspectsВ».

The following winners were announced:

In the nomination В«The Best Master's Thesis in the Field of Intellectual PropertyВ» is the work of Naplekha Anastasia Aleksandrovna (Faculty of Law, Belarusian State University). Scientific supervisor: Diana Vladimirovna Ivanova, PhD (Law), Associate Professor.

In the nomination В«The Best Thesis in the Field of Intellectual PropertyВ» is the work of Anastasia Anatolyevna Korotchenko (Faculty of Law, Belarusian State University). Scientific supervisor: Elena Aleksandrovna Svadkovskaya, PhD (Law), Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Intellectual Property Law.

In the nomination В«The Best Coursework in the Field of Intellectual PropertyВ» - the work of Maria Andreevna Aleshchenko (Faculty of Law, Belarusian State University). Scientific supervisor: Lando Daria Dmitrievna, PhD (Law), Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law.

In the nomination В«The Best Article in the Field of Intellectual PropertyВ»:

  • in the sub-category В«Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual PropertyВ» - the work of Ilya Sergeevich Lazarevich (Faculty of Law, Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov). Scientific supervisor: Nikolichev Denis Nikolaevich, senior lecturer of the department of civil law and civil procedure;
  • in the sub-category В«Protection of intellectual property rightsВ» – the work of Vladislav Sergeevich Kurlyanchik (Faculty of Law, Grodno State University named after Yanka Kupala). Scientific supervisor: Natalya Sergeevna Gabets, senior lecturer at the Department of International Law;
  • in the sub-category В«Intellectual Property: General ProvisionsВ» - the work of Nikita Sergeevich Zhurov (Faculty of Law, Belarusian State University). Scientific supervisor: Yuriy Grigorievich Konanevich, senior lecturer of the Department of Economic Law;
  • in the sub-category В«Economic aspects of Intellectual PropertyВ» – the work of Danila Arturovich Yaskevich and Arseniy Aleksandrovich Mrochko (Faculty of Economics and Management, Belarusian State Economic University). Scientific supervisor: Olga Grigorievna Dovydova, assistant at the Department of Economics of Industrial Enterprises.

In the nomination В«The Best Essay in the Field of Intellectual PropertyВ»:

  • in the sub-category В«Copyright and Related RightsВ» – the work of Valeria Mikhailovna Gevorkyan (Vitebsk State Technical College, specialty В«Accounting, Analysis and ControlВ»). Scientific supervisor: Shelukho Anzhelika Konstantinovna, teacher;
  • in the sub-category В«Intellectual Property: General ProvisionsВ» - the work of Nina Aleksandrovna Dubovik (Faculty of Law, Belarusian State University). Scientific supervisor: Diana Vladimirovna Ivanova, PhD (Law), Associate Professor;
  • in the sub–nomination В«Economic aspects of intellectual PropertyВ» is the work of Ekaterina Vladimirovna Braschuk (Faculty of Law of the Belarusian State University). Scientific supervisor: Daria Dmitrievna Lando, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law.

The competition commission also noted the following contestants:

  • A course work by Kirill Maksimovich Medvetsky (Faculty of Production Technologies, Vitebsk State Technological University). Scientific supervisor: Karpushenko Inna Stepanovna, senior lecturer of the department of technical regulation and commodity science;
  • An article by Anna Vyacheslavovna Polkina (Vitebsk State Technical College, specialty В«Accounting, Analysis and ControlВ»). Scientific supervisor: Yulia Mikhailovna Komnatova, teacher;
  • An essay by Alina Olegovna Tsvirko (teacher at Vitebsk State Technical College).

Alexander Kadlubai, Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, presented diplomas to the winners, as well as certificates for training at the National Intellectual Property Center.
