On May 8, 2024, on the eve of the 79th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, the delegation of the State Committee on Science and Technology (SCST), headed by the Chairman of the SCST Sergei Shlychkov and subordinate organizations, took part in the republican action «Belarus Remembers. We remember everyone.»
Participants of the action laid wreaths and flowers at the site of executions in the Blagovshchina tract of the Trostenets Memorial Complex.
From the National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP), the event was attended by the leadership of NCIP, representatives of the Primary Trade Union Organization and the Council of Young Scientists.

The Trostenets Memorial Complex was opened on June 22, 2015 on the site of the largest concentration camp in Belarus, created in the fall of 1941 southeast of Minsk. In terms of the number of victims of fascism, Trostenets became the fourth after Auschwitz, Majdanek and Treblinka.
After liberation from the nazis, more than 30 mass graves were discovered here, some reaching a length of 50 meters, as well as cremation pits where the nazis burned at the stake those who were shot, gassed, and even living people. In total, more than 206 thousand people died in Trostenets.
