From November 9 to 10, 2025, Astana hosted the 23rd meeting of the Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation of the Member States of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
The working group meeting was chaired by Denis Manturov, Chairman of the CSTO International Council for Economic and Strategic Security and First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
The Belarusian delegation was represented at the meeting by Aleksandr Zayats, Deputy Director General of the National Center of Intellectual Property (the NCIP).
The CSTO discussed issues related to the development and implementation of long-term military-economic cooperation programs, the improvement of standards, standardization and acceptance of military products, conducting research and development work on the creation and modernization of military products, as well as the convergence of the regulatory framework in the field of military-economic cooperation and intellectual property.
On the sidelines of the XXIII meeting of the CSTO, Aleksandr Zayats, Deputy Director General of the NCIP, Artur Karaev, Deputy Head of the Department for Commercialization Support and State Registers of the NCIP, representatives of the State Military Industrial Committee and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, were awarded the jubilee badge В«20 years of the Collective Security Treaty OrganizationВ».
