The NCIP participated in the discussion of problematic issues of using national content on the air of Belarusian radio stations
On April 10, 2025, the Press House hosted a seminar on В«National Content on the Air of Belarusian Radio StationsВ» organized by the Ministry of Information with the support of the National Center of Intellectual Property (the NCIP).
The event took place within the framework of the industry board of the Ministry of Information В«On Radio Broadcasting in Belarus: Current Issues and ProspectsВ».
In addition to heads of editorial boards of republican and regional radio programs, representatives of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Communications and Informatization, the Association of Radio Broadcasting Industry, etc. took part in the seminar.
Aliaksandr Zayats, Deputy Director General of the NCIP, made a report on В«The role and place of the National Intellectual Property Center in ensuring the lawful use of musical works by radio companiesВ».
The participants discussed key issues related to the quality of national music content on the air of Belarusian radio stations, the functioning of the radio program monitoring system and the importance of the NCIP role in ensuring the legitimate use of musical works by radio companies.
