March 15 – Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus

Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus is celebrated annually on March 15. The Principal Law of the state was adopted 30 years ago, on March 15, 1994, at the 13th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Belarus of the XII convocation and is still valid with amendments and additions adopted at the republican referendums on November 24, 1996, October 17, 2004, February 27, 2022.

Currently, the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus includes 9 sections, 9 chapters and 156 articles.

According to article 51 of the Constitution, intellectual property is protected by law.
