Council of Young Scientists established at NCIP

On February 3, 2022, a kick-off meeting of the Council of Young Scientists of the National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP) was held.
Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Shcherbakov and Director General of NCIP Uladzimir Rabavolau addressed the members of the Council with a welcoming speech. In his address, S. Shcherbakov noted that the SCST is ready to support all initiatives of the organization aimed at improving and developing the NCIP in the scientific field.
During the meeting, the Head of the Scientific and Educational Division of the Department of Scientific, Educational and Publishing Activities Skshidleuska Elzhbeta, was elected as the Chairperson of the Council, Maria Shmatava, the Leading Specialist of the Industrial Property Law and Treaties Division of the Legal and Human Resources Department, as the secretary, the Leading Specialist of the International Cooperation Division, Leyla Zmitrovich, was elected as the secretary.
For reference: the work of the Council of Young Scientists of the NCIP is aimed at developing the scientific and creative potential of young people on intellectual property issues, promoting professional growth in the field of intellectual property, active participation of young scientists in scientific research in the field of intellectual property, as well as in scientific (scientific and practical), educational and other events in the field of intellectual property.
