Authors of a multimedia work

The article by Kristina Savitskaya (senior lecturer at the Department of Civil Law, Faculty of Law, Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk, Master of Laws) «Authors of a multimedia work» was published in the fifth issue of the journal «Intellectual Property in Belarus».

The author analyzes foreign experience, scientific sources and practice of law application. As a result of the research it is concluded that the authors of multimedia work should include those who make a significant contribution to its creation. These are authors of computer programs, scripts, graphic designers, musicians and photographers. On the basis of the obtained data the recommendations on improvement of the copyright legislation of the Republic of Belarus are proposed.
