The WIPO Summer School day 4

The fourth day of the World Intellectual Property Organization Summer School (Summer School) was held on May 30.
The event featured four presentations on Trademarks:
- Correlation of the exclusive right to a trademark and the exclusive right to the object of copyright (Elena Morgunova, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law of the Moscow State Law University named after O.E. Kutafin, member of the Scientific Advisory Board at the Court for Intellectual Property Rights (Russian Federation);
- Internet Domain Names and Uniform Dispute Resolution Procedures (Raisa Kozorezova, Judge of the Judicial Board for Intellectual Property of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus);
- Illegal registration of a trademark; trademark infringement, including on the Internet (Leading Specialist of the Pre-Trial Settlement Division, and Oleg Yadrevsky, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the BSU Intellectual Property Law Department);
- Protection of country names and the Olympic symbol (Natalia Sinishova, Leading Specialist of the Examination Division of the Trademarks Department of the NCIP).
In addition to the lectures, a master class on drafting a trademark application was held (Marina Botyan, Leading Specialist of the Trademark Examination Department of the NCIP).
