On June 26, 2024, Polotsk hosted a seminar on the development and implementation of programs and projects of the Union State, dedicated to the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia (June 27-28, 2024, Vitebsk, Polotsk, Novopolotsk).

First Deputy Director General of the National Center of Intellectual Property Aliaksei Kurman delivered a report on «Issues of Distribution of Rights to Intellectual Property Objects in the Implementation of Programs and Projects of the Union State».

In his report Mr. Kurman highlighted the topical issues of distribution of rights, development of recommendations and model regulations, as well as effective use of intellectual property objects (IPOs) created within the framework of the Union State, keeping records of these IPOs, stressed the importance and expediency of making an inventory of objects created both jointly and separately by Belarusian or Russian developers during the entire period of implementation of the Union State programs.
