International Scientific Conference «Legal Protection of Intellectual Property: Problems of Theory and Practice»

On May 24, 2024 in Polotsk on the basis of the Saint Euphrosyne Polotsk State University the International Scientific Conference “Legal protection of intellectual property: problems of theory and practice” was held.

The event was attended by representatives of state authorities, Belarusian and foreign universities, scientific organizations, young scientists and practitioners in the field of intellectual property (IP).

Uladzimir Rabavolau, Director General of the National Center of Intellectual Property (the NCIP), made a welcome speech during the online conference, in which he touched upon various issues and challenges faced by right holders and the NCIP, as well as presented current IP trends.

The event platform became a place for constructive discussion on IP issues in the context of digitalization of the economy, international aspects of IP rights protection, development of the Eurasian patenting system, management of innovation projects and others.
