The NCIP awards were presented

On April 23, 2024, the National Center of Intellectual Property (the NCIP) hosted an awards ceremony.

The highest award – the medal of distinction of the state institution “the National Center of Intellectual Property” “For Merits” - was awarded to:

The leading specialist of the Preliminary Examination Division of the Industrial Property Examination Department Svetlana Scherbak– for significant personal contribution to the development of the system of intellectual property rights protection;

The leading specialist of the Preliminary Examination Division of the Industrial Property Examination Department Svetlana Kotul –for significant personal contribution to the development of the system of intellectual property rights protection;

The leading specialist of the Examination Division of the Trademarks Department Natalia Kogapenko – for high performance in work related to the expert examination of industrial property rights objects;

The specialist of the State Registers Division of the Department for Commercialization Support and State Registers Alla Neverovich – for many years of fruitful, conscientious work in the National Center of Intellectual Property.

The leading specialist of the Protocol and International Cooperation Department Andrey Mitskevich – for significant personal contribution to the development of the system of intellectual property rights protection.

Aliaksandr Zayats, the Deputy Director General was awarded the Certificate of Merit of the National Center of Intellectual Property – for high professionalism, significant contribution to the formation and development of the system of collective management of property rights, effective development and implementation of measures to digitalize the activities of the National Center of Intellectual Property.

Diplomas of the National Center of Intellectual Property were also awarded to the following:

The Head of the Legal Support and Compliance Control Department of the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus Victoria Meleshko – for assistance in the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of intellectual property rights protection, great personal contribution to the development of legislation in the field of intellectual property;

The Head of the Economic Crimes Department of the Criminal Police of the Interior Department of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee Vitaly Tarasenko – for active participation and significant personal contribution to the implementation of state policy in the field of intellectual property rights protection.
