Issues of protecting intellectual property and artificial intelligence to be discussed at a conference in Minsk

On October 22-23, 2024, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference «Intellectual Property in the Modern World: Challenges of the Time and Development Prospects» will be held in Minsk.

Within the framework of section 2 «Intellectual property and information technologies» the following issues are planned to be discussed:

• legal protection of computer programs using the example of computer games: creation and use;
• multimedia works as new copyright objects;
• problems of legal protection of intellectual property (IP) objects created using artificial intelligence;
• Peculiarities of conclusion and execution of license agreements in the ICT sphere;
• user agreements: qualification, execution, violation of obligations by the parties;
• legal aspects of placement, acquisition and use of mobile applications;
• practice of using open (free, public) licenses in the field of ICT;
• IP-protected corporate identity design in the digital environment: opportunities to increase the value of your business;
• the legal nature of virtual property in the context of IP;
• cybersquatting: types and technologies of protection;
• peculiarities of consideration of cases on infringement of intellectual property rights in the ICT sphere;
• the practice of issuing Eurasian patents for inventions and industrial designs in the field of ICT.
