On May 21-22, 2024, Minsk hosts a meeting of the permanent seminar at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia on the construction of the Union State on the topic В«Property of the Union State: issues of accounting and managementВ».
Uladzimir Rabavolau, Director General of the National Center of Intellectual Property, made a report В«Topical issues in the field of intellectual property within the framework of the Union StateВ» within the event, in which he noted that in order to form a coherent system of intellectual property (IP) management, created within the framework of the implementation of the Union State programs, it is necessary to carry out high-quality inventory analytical work.
В«Today it is important to clearly regulate IP issues at the level of regulatory legal acts of the Union State. We also consider it necessary to review the issue of creating a Unified register of IP objects established within the framework of the programs of the Union State. It remains relevant to carry out an inventory of IP objects created both jointly and separately by Belarusian or Russian developers during the implementation of allied programs. This will make it possible to form a complete list of IP objects and simplify their further management,В» U. Rabavolau noted.
