37th meeting of the Council of the International Association of Academies of Sciences

On September 18-20, 2024, the 37th meeting of the Council of the International Association of Academies of Sciences (IAAS) was held in Moscow to mark the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The meeting was attended by the Director General of the National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP) Uladzimir Rabavolau and representatives of the Council of Young Scientists of the NCIP.

As a co-chairman of the Scientific Council on the Protection of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer of IAAS, Uladzimir Rabavolau took part in the round table «On the activities of scientific councils of IAAS».

A meeting of the Council of Young Scientists (CYS) of IAAS was also held at the Russian Academy of Sciences, at which reports of participants from the national councils of young scientists of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries were presented. The participants discussed plans for cooperation and prospects for further work of the CYS IAAS in 2025. During the meeting, it was proposed to create unified lists of recommended scientific journals, conferences and competitions that would help scientists from the IAAS member organizations improve the quality of scientific activity.
