Patent analytics issues to be discussed at the intellectual property conference

On October 22-23, 2024, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference «Intellectual Property in the Modern World: Challenges of the Time and Development Prospects» to be held in Minsk.

Within the framework of section 1 «Patent search and patent analytics» the following issues are planned to be discussed:

• main trends in global patent analytics;
• industry patent landscapes in the interests of determining priorities for scientific and technological development;
• assessing the competitiveness and potential for import substitution of technologies using patent analytics;
• WIPO's competencies in building patent landscapes: new opportunities for researchers and innovators;
• practice of creating express patent landscapes in the Republic of Belarus;
• review of open patent landscapes of FIPS: practical skills in providing patent analytics services.

Section 1 «Patent search and patent analytics» to be conducted in the form of a training course (link to courses from the website) with the issuance of training certificates in the form established by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
