WIPO for Creators platform as a tool to improve legal literacy in the field of intellectual property

The second issue of the journal «Intellectual Property in Belarus» contains the article by Konstantin Galimov (Head of the Copyright and Related Rights Department of the National Cente of Intellectual Property) «WIPO for Creators Platform as a Tool for Increasing Legal Literacy in the Field of Intellectual Property».

The article reviews the experience of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in creating the WIPO for Creators Platform (WIPO Platform) as a comprehensive tool to improve legal literacy in the field of intellectual property, as well as to promote knowledge in the field of copyright and related rights. The article considers the goals and objectives of the platform, organizational, regulatory, financial and technical aspects of its functioning, as well as the feasibility and prospects of creating a similar project in the Republic of Belarus, and the possibility of Belarus joining this WIPO initiative.
