EAPO President Grigory Ivliev visited NCIP

On June 13, 2024, Grigory Ivliev, President of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) of the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO), visited the National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP).

During the visit, Uladzimir Rabavolau, Director General of NCIP, familiarized Grigory Ivliev with the history of formation and development of NCIP, the main activities of the structural divisions of the office, visited the archive of patent documentation.

The parties discussed further cooperation between NCIP and EAPO, participation in the EAPO Administrative Council meeting, the General Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva (July 9-17, 2024) and implementation of joint projects on automation of processes in the field of examination of applications and examination, interaction of experts of the two patent offices.

The President of the EAPO highly appreciated the preparation of the experts of the Belarusian Patent Office and the quality of their examination, noted the high level of cooperation and increase of joint projects implemented by the Republic of Belarus and the EAPO.
