BSU discussed legislative support of intellectual property

On March 13, 2025 the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference «Development of Belarusian legal science in the context of modern ideas of constitutionalism» was held on the basis of the Law Faculty of the Belarusian State University.

Uladzimir Rabavolau, Director General of the National Center of Intellectual Property, took part in the event with a report on key aspects of legislative support and protection of intellectual property.

During his speech the Director General of NCIP emphasized the importance of fundamental laws and institutions that contribute to the protection of citizens' rights to access to information, and noted the active work of representatives of the scientific and educational community, aimed at improving the legal environment for the development of the national intellectual property system.

Also within the framework of the conference Uladzimir Rabavolau presented a badge of distinction of the state institution «National Center of Intellectual Property» «Honourable badge» to Grigory Vasilevich, Head of the Department of Constitutional Law of the Law Faculty of the Belarusian State University, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Law, Professor, for significant contribution to the development of the national intellectual property system and outstanding achievements in intellectual activity.
