Technology and Innovation Support Centre established at the RSPC Sports Centre

On February 7, 2025 in Minsk on the basis of the state institution В«Republican Scientific and Practical Centre for SportВ» (RSPC Sport) the seminar В«Organisation of activities of technology and innovation support centres and topical issues of protection and management of intellectual property rightsВ» was held. The National Centre for Intellectual Property (NCIP) experts took part in the event as speakers.

The seminar included the signing of the Agreement on the establishment of the Technology and Innovation Support Centre (TISC) in the Republic of Belarus on the basis of the RSPC Sports. The relevant document was signed by Uladzimir Rabavolau, Director General of NCIP, and Irina Malyovanaya, Director of RSPC Sport.

The opening of the TISC will increase the availability of information in the field of legal protection and use of the results of intellectual activity for a wide range of users.

Currently there are 33 TISC points in the Republic of Belarus: the first level - on the basis of NCIP, the second level - in libraries, institutions of higher education and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (23 TISCs), the third level - on the basis of organisations and enterprises (9 TISC points).
