Director General of the NCIP outlined the key objectives of the Center for the year 2025
On February 6, 2025 under the direction of the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus Denis Korzhitsky the event dedicated to the results of the National Center of Intellectual Property (the NCIP) for 2024 was held.
In the speech, Uladzimir Rabavolau, Director General of the NCIP, outlined promising directions for the development of the patent office.
В«Intellectual property should become an effective tool for innovative and socio-cultural development of Belarus. We set ourselves significant tasks for 2025. We plan to continue the work on building a system of legal protection of know-how and filling the functionality of technology and innovation support centers. Other tasks include the development of a system of priority consideration of applications for industrial property rights objects created at the expense of budget fundsВ», said Uladzimir Rabavolau.
Director General of the NCIP mentioned the necessity to support the formation of state scientific and technical programs for 2026-2030 and to conduct training at the NCIP field courses for different industries. В«It is also worth developing proposals for the revival of patent services at state enterprises and institutionsВ», - added U. Rabavolau.
The main tasks of the NCIP for this year are also modernization of the Intellectual Property Exchange, continuation of work on the development of the patent analytics system and implementation of the automated information system В«RegistersВ».
В«The structural divisions have a global task to organize their work so that intellectual property becomes an effective tool for innovative and socio-cultural development of BelarusВ», concluded Uladzimir Rabavolau.
