According to the preliminary results of the invention contest «The best patent of Belarus», 15 finalists were determined, one of which was OJSC BELAZ - Management Company of Holding «BELAZ-HOLDING - the world's largest manufacturer of dump trucks and transportation equipment for the mining and construction industries.

OJSC BELAZ developed «Vehicle Disc Brake» protected by the utility model patent of the Republic of Belarus No. 13039 was submitted to the contest.

The purpose of the utility model is to increase brake reliability, safety in operation, improve braking efficiency and reduce costs in operation. The specified technical solution is aimed to increase the service life of brakes and their elements while reducing the cost.

At present the disk brake according to the utility model patent of the Republic of Belarus No. 13039 is used as actuators of the braking system on dump trucks «BELAZ-7531G».

We remind that the determination of the winner of the contest and awarding will be held within the framework of the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference «Intellectual Property in the Modern World: Challenges of Time and Development Prospects», which will be held on October 22-23, 2024.
